To find a qualified paddleboard instructor, you can start by checking with national paddle sport organizations which offer certification and training for instructors. Additionally, the British Stand Up Paddle Association (BSUPA) And Academy of Surf Instructors (ASI) update a list of qualified stand up paddleboarding instructors, which can be a useful resource to find certified professionals. It’s also beneficial to visit local paddleboarding clubs or centers, as they often have certified instructors or can recommend qualified individuals.

Remember to ensure that the instructor has the necessary qualifications and experience, as well as a good understanding of safety and rescue techniques.

We have a number of paddleboard instructors that we trust and recommend, and these are shown on our ‘recommended by McConks’ maps.
