Description
McConks Go Anywhere 10’8 inflatable stand up paddle board is for those people who like to do their own thing.
A McConks SUP for those who like to create their own SUP stories rather than being part of someone else’s. Who seek out their own hidden beaches and coves, to get close to nature, to escape.
Do you want to make your own SUP adventures?
It’s for anyone who wants to paddle surf, and who wants to take kids paddling or pets with them. It’s also for those people with a social and environmental conscience.
If that’s you then our 10’8 Go Anywhere board is the perfect stand up paddle board choice.
The perfect all round inflatable McConks SUP board
McConks are paddlers too and we’ve redesigned our best selling all-round inflatable SUP board based on our experience! But we didn’t just use our experience. We’ve also spoken to lots of paddlers to really understand what makes a perfect allround iSUP and used this to set new standards for our touring iSUP boards.
We’ve redefined lightweight touring inflatable paddle boards with our German tech woven drop stitch technology (1). This uses the latest fusion polymer technology to reduce the weight of the paddleboard compared to competitors, but still provide a solid rigid platform for comfortable long distance paddling.
To put this into perspective, this board packs a massive 278l volume, so will happily carry a load of 200kg, and yet weighs less than 10kg.
Impossible to capsize.
With so much volume, this board is almost impossible to capsize on flat water, so is perfect for nervous beginners, or heavier loads.
With 6 inches of depth, you ride high above the water, giving great vistas and increasing that feeling of safety.
The 6 inches of depth also makes the paddleboard rigid at lower pressures, so less pressure is needed compared to cheaper, single skin, 4″ or 4.75″ thick iSUPs.
Front storage and lashing points on the paddleboard allow you to take all you need for a day trip, or allow you to attach a SUP seat up front for younger passengers.
With the extra thickness, width and volume, this inflatable SUP board happily eats up the miles even with a kid on board.
The shape has been developed and refined to give optimum all round use:
• The sleek tapered lines on the rail give excellent glide, tracking and speed when standing in the neutral position and paddling in a straight line inflatable SUP boards
• The pintail shape gives better performance in surf than round or square tailed
• The 2 + 1 FCS fin set up allows you to adjust the bite and control of your inflatable SUP to your environment. Real fins are a game changer for iSUP performance. Better tracking, better glide and better performance in waves. It amazes us that anyone still uses fixed rubber fins when the alternative is so much better!
Don’t believe those who say that all inflatable SUP are the same!
Or that every manufacturer uses the same materials. There are vast differences in the quality of materials, and in the quality assurance of those boards. Our boards are on the production table for over 72 hours, and then they’re pressure tested for another 72 hours.
If you’re buying a board that costs less than ours, then either the production time is quicker, the materials are worse quality, or the quality assurance is worse. Or often, all three!
Tweaks and changes.
We’ve extended the deckpad to cover much more of the deck, and more than most boards on the market. Why? This makes it more comfortable for kids up front, or for yoga, and also keeps kit more secure under the shockcord.
Secure your gear
And talking of the shockcord, we’ve added a new mechanism that makes it easy to release the shockcord to secure your gear, or attach our new integrated deckbag.
We’ve also integrated additional marine grade stainless steel D rings around the standing position. These lie flat in the deckpad so don’t get in the way if you’re not using, but allow a SUP seat to be attached if you so want.
Personally, we think they’re bad for you back, and highly inefficient, but we’ve been told off by customers this year who love them!
Not for McConks
We WILL NOT be making our paddles double bladed though – that is seriously bad for your back and shoulders. The blades are too big and the wrong shape to be used as a kayak paddle, and you will end up with rotator cuff and lower back injuries.
An additional cheap split kayak paddle is a much better option all round.
Updated design
And we’ve updated the design a bit. We like to keep our design constant for as long as possible – we don’t want to be part of the unsustainable annual upgrade cycle – but we’ve had the previous design since 2016, and it was looking a little tired!
We also include a Panda Board Sports Quick Release waist belt as standard with every SUP package at no additional cost – we care about your safety!

Rebecca Kinnear –
Absolutely brilliant. We love our board. Suitable for the whole family, nice and stable for the kids but agile enough for the adults to go on coastal adventures. Plenty of space for bags, a kid or 2 or the dog. The board is great quality and easy to inflate. When something did go wrong the team at mcconks replaced the board immediately. Fab service, great at sharing the knowledge. Well worth the money.

Very please with our paddle board, feels well made and handles well. We’ve been using ours for 2 summers with no problems. Had a few questions before purchase that were answered in quickly and we’re very helpful.

I love my McConks SUP. It looks great, it’s stable and it cuts through the water brilliantly enabling me move at faster pace than those on standard rounder tipped boards.

I’ve had my 10’8 paddle board for a couple of years now.
Very good quality, easy to inflate, very stable on the rivers and lakes that I’ve been on ( I’ve not done coastal waters).
Customer service from McConks when I ordered the board was top notch. Fully recommended.
Rhos Chappelle –
Thanks McConks – my SUP is awesome. I’ve taken it to lakes, rivers and the occasional sea outing. Never lets me down and feels indestructible. Grips well and not harsh on your feet (my wife’s board from a different manufacturer gets uncomfortable after a while). Glides well though the water. I did decide to upgrade the pump to electric – couldn’t get on with the one supplied.
Laurence Hobden –
Really really good.
After months of agonising over reviews, none of which featured boards they hadn’t been given as freebie’s, a friend of mine recommended McConks as being passionate about what they do and real people to deal with.
I pre-ordered my board but it has been worth the wait. Most of my mates have ‘Red’ boards, but they all say they would buy McConks if they had their time again. Better fin boxes, much lower cost and no downsides. They all rate my carbon paddle much better, lighter and more powerful than the Red options too, having 3 different ones between them.
I had a faulty paddle initially- but I can’t fault the customer service. A new one was at my door inside a week and has been great ever since.
I’ll be buying another larger McConks board at some point for family days and have been raving about them since I bought it.

Lovely board, I bought it for myself but the whole family can use it. We have taken it with us on holiday and it’s been great on lakes, rivers and on the sea.
Add in Mcconks service and I couldn’t be happier

We bought our McConks a couple of years ago now and it’s still giving us excellent service and fun opportunities wherever we go. It’s tough, robust, beautifully designed and we love it. It’s compact enough to squeeze into all o it adventures and we’ve been flat to be able to get n the water whenever we wanted to. Brilliant after sales service from the team when we lost a fin. Replacement – no problem!!! Such a good feel to support a genuinely family in UK business!

I bought my first board in 2021 for my daughter and her family, they have had a lot of fun with it, so much so I decided to get a second board in 2022. I’m no expert but I think the boards are excellent, and Mcconks offer very good after sales service and support. The online guidance, safety information relating to use of the equipment is also excellent. No hesitation in recommending this board, it is good for adults and our 8 and 10 year old grandchildren manage it very well too. The portability of the whole package is a great feature too.

I had my 10’6 go anywhere board for around 4 years now and all I can say is bloomin brilliant fun.
Previous to this board I had no experience whatsoever of SUP. I was a bit apprehensive of the set up etc but it was so simple to do.
My whole family now get involved and the board goes with us on every trip to the coast or river.
The quality of the board is first class as are the extras we purchased.
Along with that and the first class customer service I highly recommend McConks for your purchase of anything SUP related.

We have had this board for 3 years. it is perfect for us as a family with three children (now aged 14, 12 and 8). We have had many lovely family holidays using this board, both in the Uk and abroad. It packs and travels well and is also great for away days locally. We had not used a SUP prior to this purchase. If you want to make lasting memories – buy this board!

Excellent board, minor issue with paddle bolts.
We purchased two of these boards last month and have used them several times in the intervening weeks. It comes with everything you’d need to get going and while we are relative amateurs I can’t see why you’d want anything else from a board. Certainly handles much better than any other we’re used in the past. Glad we went for McConks. The only downside is the paddle hardware, for which the bolts in the adjustment clips must come incredibly loosely fitting from the warehouse – so make sure you tighten them up immediately when you open the package (you’ll need a cross-head screwdriver). We lost three bolts and one cam-lock clip within minutes of unpacking the kit. However these are easy to replace – M4 bolts 12mm in length – go for A2 stainless steel and ideally hex head so you can adjust with the same tool for locking the fins. Seems strange to need a crosshead screwdriver (not provided) as well as hex key for this, could easily be remedied from factory by having everything hex. McConks carry spare cam-lock clips as perhaps this is a recurring issue?
In all, very happy and would definitely recommend.

The perfect board for a larger paddler! In search of adventure and more stability I stumbled across mconks 10.8isup all rounder and instantly fell in love. As a disabled paddler standing has always been a challenge. The stability of this board filled me with confidence and has me on my feet at every opportunity. Its maneuvers well in the water. Its easy to carry as its not to bulky. The unique shape means I can forward roll up and down the board and step back turn as it’s intended of course. Having 3 removable fins was a big selling point for me! I often paddle in ‘interesting’ places so being able to remove or switch out fins is essential. My only niggle is the screw mechanism on the inflation pin but that’s due to my dexterity…ill adapt!
