It is very much designed as a beginner’s whitewater paddle board – a super stable platform that allow you to develop your core underpinning whitewater skills, but also allows a bit of fun as you start to develop.

What we’ve ended up with is a knife-edge compromise between a board that paddles in a straight line to the run, is a very stable board for total whitewater SUP beginners, holds its line in ferry glides, eddies in and out easily, and yet is loose in river waves. Whilst being plenty applicable for anyone paddling at the coast or on non-moving water.

If that doesn’t sound possible, this is how:

Whitewater paddle board key features

• 9’8 x 36″ x 6″ inch board –  stable width and volume, optimised length
• X woven double skin drop stitch – the best technology on the market for stiffness and weight
• 9″ nose rocker – to avoid the nose pearling (submersing)
• 3″ tail rocker to run out of those features
• 4+1 fins.  Run as twin, quad, 2+1 thruster, 4+1 or single fin
• Deckpad with rear stomp-pad to keep traction and feet planted
• 27PSI pressure guarantee.  This board will not leak or fail.  Whether it be the River Nile, the Zambezi or the River Usk it will last you forever.
• Shaped rails on the rear section of the rails.
• The Go Wild only weighs 11.5kg with fins

Like all McConks whitewater packages the paddle board comes with our premium wheeled rucksack, fins, extendable leash with waistbelt, and repair kit. There’s also a GoPro screw mount on the nose of the board so you can securely record your adventures and exploits without fear of losing your action camera.
