Well what a great day we had. The sun shone, the wind blew, coffee was drunk, baked potatoes were eaten, boards were paddled, and there were smiles all round. Thanks to everyone who made it such an amazing day and particularly those who travelled long distances to come to see us. We’ve never seen so many paddlers on the water at the same time.
Well done to everyone who took part in the SUPathon and battled that evil wind! And a huge well done to those that actually completed the 13 miles – a real achievement in that wind.
We’ve got a few medals left over, which means we didn’t manage to get a medal to everyone who took part in the SUPathon (sorry!). If that’s you, please collect your medal from the cafe at Lake 32, or email in**@mc*****.com, and they will pop one in the post.
We’re sorry if we didn’t get around to chat to you – everyone was run off their feet all day. Which is something we’ll definitely take into account if/when we arrange a spring event.
We’re aware that a few people tried to make donations when Andy was chatting to people, and so weren’t able to. And some of you who couldn’t make it on the day have asked about donating. So just for you, we’ve set up this page so you can still donate https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/goinspire
