For this article we’re going to be shining a spotlight on one of McConks’s awesome SUP partners. And moving forwards we’re aiming to make this a regular serious where we highlight the great work that these companies do. It’s one of the reasons we’re working with them. But hopefully, all these organisations appreciate the McConks ethos too.
In this installment, it’s Beyond Boundaries East Lothian who are being featured. And in particular BBEL’s Steve Nelson. Although all the team do an amazing job!
Steve Nelson is a man on a mission. It doesn’t who you are, where you’re from or what (if any) prior watersports you have. Steve is committed to getting you on the water and enjoying stand up paddle boarding. Beyond Boundaries East Lothian focus on 16+ year olds are challenged with mental health issues or disabilities in the East Lothian area.
Using SUP as a tool Steve and his team will get riders out on the water – often for the first time – and enjoy being afloat and the outdoors. Using a variety of McConks SUP kit there’s a board that’ll be perfect for all comers. But it’s not just about SUP either. Steve and the Beyond Boundaries East Lothian crew offer other outdoor activities as well.
