Do you want to make your own SUP adventures?
The Go Anywhere 10’8 inflatable stand up paddle board is for those people who like to do their own thing, who like to create their own SUP stories rather than being part of someone else’s. Who seek out their own hidden beaches and coves, to get close to nature, to escape. It’s for anyone who wants to paddle surf, and who wants to take kids paddling or pets with them. It’s also for those people with a social and environmental conscience.
If that’s you then our 10’8 Go Anywhere board is perfect stand up paddle board choice.
The perfect all round inflatable SUP board
McConks are paddlers too and we’ve redesigned our best selling all-round inflatable SUP board based on our experience a! But we didn’t just use our experience. We’ve also spoken to lots of paddlers to really understand what makes a perfect allround iSUP and used this to set new standards for our touring iSUP boards.
We’ve redefined lightweight touring inflatable paddle boards with our German tech woven drop stitch technology (1). This uses the latest fusion polymer technology to reduce the weight of the paddleboard compared to competitors, but still provide a solid rigid platform for comfortable long distance paddling. To put this into perspective, this board packs a massive 278l volume, so will happily carry a load of 200kg, and yet weighs less than 10kg.
With so much volume, this board is almost impossible to capsize on flat water, so is perfect for nervous beginners, or heavier loads. With 6 inches of depth, you ride high above the water, giving great vistas and increasing that feeling of safety. The 6 inches of depth also makes the paddleboard rigid at lower pressures, so less pressure is needed compared to cheaper, single skin, 4″ or 4.75″ thick iSUPs.
Front storage and lashing points on the paddleboard allow you to take all you need for a day trip, or allow you to attach a SUP seat up front for younger passengers.
With the extra thickness, width and volume, this inflatable SUP board happily eats up the miles even with a kid on board.
The shape has been developed and refined to give optimum all round use:
• The sleek tapered lines on the rail give excellent glide, tracking and speed when standing in the neutral position and paddling in a straight line inflatable SUP boards
• The pintail shape gives better performance in surf than round or square tailed
• The 2 + 1 FCS fin set up allows you to adjust the bite and control of your inflatable SUP to your environment. Real fins are a game changer for iSUP performance. Better tracking, better glide and better performance in waves. It amazes us that anyone still uses fixed rubber fins when the alternative is so much better!
(1) Don’t believe those who say that all inflatable SUP are the same, or that every manufacturer uses the same materials. There are vast differences in the quality of materials, and in the quality assurance of those boards. Our boards are on the production table for over 72 hours, and then they’re pressure tested for another 72 hours. If you’re buying a board that costs less than ours, then either the production time is quicker, the materials are worse quality, or the quality assurance is worse. Or in the worse case, all three!
What’s new for 2021?
We’ve extended the deckpad to cover the whole deck. Why? This makes it more comfortable for kids up front, or for yoga, and also keeps kit more secure under the shockcord. And talking of the shockcord, we’ve added a new bombproof mechanism that makes it easy to release the shockcord to secure your gear, or attach our new integrated deckbag.
We’ve also added a new bottleholder/camera mount point next to the standing position, and added integrated additional marine grade stainless steel D rings around the standing position. These lie flat in the deckpad so don’t get in the way if you’re not using, but allow a SUP seat to be attached if you so want (personally, we think they’re bad for you back, and highly inefficient, but we’ve been told off by customers this year who love them! We WILL NOT be making our paddles double bladed though – that is seriously bad for your backck and shoulders. The blades are too big and the wrong shape to be used as a kayak paddle, and you will end up with rotator cuff and lower back injuries. An additional cheap split kayak paddle is a much better option all round)
And we’ve updated the design a bit. We like to keep our design constant for as long as possible – we don’t want to be part of the unsustainable annual upgrade cycle – but we’ve had the previous design since 2016, and it was looing a little tired!
We are also adding a Quick Release waist belt as standard with every SUP package at no additional cost – we care about your safety!

What else might you need?
Connect to a compressor | Valve adaptor
This little tool allows you to connect your inflatable paddleboard to a shrader (car tyre) type pump. Please note that most car tyre pumps are not designed to provide enough volume to inflate a SUP. Therefore using your car tyre inflator could damage the pump. And the use of a very high volume compressor could damage your SUP board – so be careful!
Inflating your iSUP with ease | Triple action pump
Why not upgrade to the HP6 double chamber triple action iSUP pump. This pump makes your pre-paddle routine a doddle, inflating an all round board to 18 PSI in less than 5 minutes, without breaking your back. Upgrade for only £50 extra.
Inflating your iSUP the cheat’s way | Electric eCheat pump
If you want something else to do the hard work for you, look no further than our eCheat pump. This pump connects to the 12v socket, or the car battery terminals, and will inflate to 20PSI in about 15-20 minutes without you flexing a single muscle. Perfect for those who don’t want a full workout off the water before starting your on the water one! £100 when purchased with a SUP package.

Protect the seas and your body | Rash vests
Not just a rash vest, but one made from recycled plastic waste. Here’s what a happy customer had to say…
“It is very comfy. Easily the comfiest one I’ve had. Better than my current Billabong one. I wasn’t expecting it to be long sleeved. If I’d have been looking to buy another one, I’d have gone for short sleeve. But now I’ve tried your long sleeve one on, I’m sold on it. In the hot weather this Saturday at the Torbay air show, it was lovely and cooling on and stopped me getting burned when wearing it on its own with shorts. When I went for a swim, I put my wetsuit top on over the top of it and it kept me nice and warm. When I took the wetsuit top off, your rash vest dried pretty quickly in the sun.”
No snags | river fin
Shallow rivers are a drag (literally), particularly for those riders with fixed fins. Luckily, McConks don’t do fixed fins, and a river fin pack allows you to use shorter fins for shallower waters.
Harder, straighter, faster | Race fins
If you want better tracking, then these stand up paddle race fins will improve your tracking and your speed through the water. With a weed shedding profile they will also significantly reduce drag in weedy waters.
Have fun, be safe | SUP safety
It goes without saying you should nearly always use a leash. If you’re on flat water, then a coiled leash (supplied as standard most of our boards) is your perfect leash. If you want to surf SUP, then a straight leash is advised to reduce the risk of recoil.
SUP specific quick release belts
If you stand up paddle on flowing water (moderate or fast flowing rivers or tidal rivers), you should always use a quick release safety belt. Without a QR belt, there is a risk that you could be pinned down by the current with your board one side of an object, and you the other. And this nearly always results in death.
We recommend two quick release belts. The HF SUP buddy is a no frills QR belt with manual quick release, and emergency resistance release. So even if you can’t manually release the belt, it will release under enough stress. The next step up HF Synergy is a premium piece of kit that fully complies with British Canoeing’s guidance on SUP Safety on whitewater. It is comfortably padded, has a much cleaner emergency release that has a much reduced risk of entanglement and entrapment, and allows for the attachment of a Restube PFD and a throwline. The belts have an added advantage of keeping the leash out from under your feet, making step back turns much less of a tangle.
SUP eye protection/sunglasses
When you’re paddling you need sunglasses that protect your eyes against reflected blue light, and that are polarised. Most eyewear manufacturers neglect the blue wavelength protection as it is not specified in international standards. All of our SUP eyewear gives additional blue spectrum protection, our mirror blue lenses provide the greatest protection for paddling. With frames hand made from sustainable materials, and made to float, our shades protect your wallet, the environment, and your eyes.
SUP gear protection/dry bags
Keeping your gear safe on the water is an important element of SUP safety. What good is your mobile phone if it’s at the bottom of the sea? Our dry bags keep your gear dry, and have inflatable external bladders to ensure they float. And they’re made from recycled plastic waste.
Making memories | iSUP RAM camera mount
This mount from RAM mounts is a totally bulletproof piece of kit. Originally designed for use on high speed motorbikes, they have a bombproof construction, and are up to anything the natural environment can throw at them. So it will keep your camera safe and sound and let you capture the memory for ever. And also prevent your camera causing heavy metal pollution from leaching batteries, and plastic pollution. And there are attachments for waterproof phones, tablets, speakers, lamps, fishing rods, and much more – it’s not just a camera mount.
