McConks Go Fly – SUP/surf/foil/downwind wing
£300.00 – £450.00
If you have a paddleboard, then the Go Fly is the perfect antidote to paddling in wind! SO whilst you previously chose not to paddle in 10 – 15 knots of wind, the Go Fly brings those windier days back into play./ If you’ve only got 30 minutes, then rigging your windsurf board is out of the question. But with this wing, you can be on the water in minutes.
Wing boarding is much safer than kitesurfing and is perfect for getting kids involved in water sports. You can learn about the wind and the power you can harness, simply sheet in to get going, then just let go and the power is gone. It couldn’t be easier or safer!
- It’s great fun, and the wings are small and compact, they are the perfect addition to a paddle to get power on the water. With no lines you can take the Swing anywhere, allowing you to access spots that were not possible with a kite. As you improve your skills, it’s time to step up into the world of foiling with the Swing.
Description
Are you ready to Go Fly?
The wing revolution is here!
Designed to be as much fun as a windsurf sail, but without the rigging faff, this SUP wing will get you on the water (or land or snow!) in just a couple of minutes. Can be used as a foilwing, a SUPwing, or even a mountain/skateboard wing.
Made from Teijin Technoforce D2 ripstop fabric (used by some of the biggest kite brands such as Ozone, RRD and Slingshot), this wing is very lightweight, very strong and very durable.
Super rigid
The two super strong bladders of this wingsurfer are inflated through a single inflation point making inflation quick and easy. And the connector between the two bladders can be sealed allowing you to keep the central strut inflated whilst the leading edge is deflated. Perfect for travelling short journeys. And the bladders are guaranteed to 5pSI, so you can really ram the air in them to up the rigidity of your wing.
The high tensile thread running along the leading edge couple with the Technoforce fabric ensures a strong wing with better control and reduced flapping.
Grunty rather than lifty
The wingsurfer has 5m2 of surface area, with a low aspect. So this wing is designed to generate grunt rather than lift. The Central strut is wide to allow more grip handles and to increase torsional rigidity. And the bladders are guaranteed to 5PSI to ensure a super rigid wing. The multiple semi rigid handles on the leading edge and the central strut are both comfortable to hold for long periods, suitable to attach harness lines to, and in just the right place, making this perfect for SUP and for beginners getting into foiling.
Strong and durable
The wing has been reinforced at key drag and stress points with Kevlar scuff strips to reduce the effects of abrasion, and the entire wing is made of strong ripstop fabric. The foilwing tips are also reinforced making this wing great to use on land as well as on water.
Designed by nature
The inflated booms hold the SUPwing in a shape that we’ve borrowed from nature – Falcons to be exact. So just like the Falcons wing, the Go Fly is designed to be efficient and fast!
Safety first
The wing comes with a wrist leash and the ability to deflate the leading edge whilst keeping the central strut inflated turns the wing into a buoyancy aid that won’t get blown around should the worst happen!
At £200 less than the leading brands, why wouldn’t you fly with McConks?
