Description
This board is for those people who like to do their own thing, who like to create their own stories rather than being part of someone else’s. Who seek out their own hidden beaches and coves, to get close to nature, to escape. Who want to paddlesurf, and who want to take kids or pets with them.
And if you and your passengers and kit weigh less than 120kg, then this is the board for you.
McConks are paddlers too, and we’ve designed the perfect all-round board based on our experience! But we didn’t just use our experience. We’ve also spoken to lots of paddlers to really understand what makes a perfect allround iSUP and used this to set new standards for our touring iSUP boards.
We’ve redefined lightweight touring inflatable paddle boards with the absolute best dropstitch available – German tech woven drop stitch (1). This uses the latest fusion polymer technology to reduce the weight of the paddleboard compared to competitors, but still provide a solid rigid platform for comfortable long distance paddling. To put this into perspective, this board packs a massive 220l volume, so will happily carry a load of 120kg, and yet weighs less than 10kg. For beginners we recommend a maximum regular weight of 100kg (14.1 stone). But if you know what you’re doing, then load it all the way up to 170kg!
Front storage and lashing points on the paddleboard allow you to take all you need for a day trip, or allow you to attach a SUP seat up front for younger passengers.
The shape has been developed and refined to give optimum all round use:
• The sleek tapered lines on the rail give excellent glide, tracking and speed when standing in the neutral position and paddling in a straight line
• The pintail shape gives better performance in surf than round or square tailed inflatable SUP boards
• The 2 1 FCS in set up allows you to adjust the bite and control of your inflatable SUP to your environment. Real fins are a game changer for iSUP performance. Better tracking, better glide and better performance in waves. It amazes us that anyone still uses fixed rubber fins when the alternative is so much better!
The click fit side bite fin boxes use the Fugawa system, which allows you to use both the click fit fittings of the supplied fins, or standard FCS fins.
(1) Don’t believe those who say that all inflatable SUP are the same, or that every manufacturer uses the same materials. There are vast differences in the quality of materials, and in the quality assurance of those boards. Our boards are on the production table for over 72 hours, and then they’re pressure tested for another 72 hours. If you’re buying a board that costs less than ours, then either the production time is quicker, the materials are worse quality, or the quality assurance is worse. Or in the worse case, all three!
We’ve extended the deckpad to cover much more of the deck, and more than most boards on the market. Why? This makes it more comfortable for kids up front, or for yoga, and also keeps kit more secure under the shockcord. And talking of the shockcord, we’ve added a new mechanism that makes it easy to release the shockcord to secure your gear, or attach our new integrated deckbag.
We’ve also integrated additional marine grade stainless steel D rings around the standing position. These lie flat in the deckpad so don’t get in the way if you’re not using, but allow a SUP seat to be attached if you so want (personally, we think they’re bad for you back, and highly inefficient, but we’ve been told off by customers this year who love them! We WILL NOT be making our paddles double bladed though – that is seriously bad for your back and shoulders. The blades are too big and the wrong shape to be used as a kayak paddle, and you will end up with rotator cuff and lower back injuries. An additional cheap split kayak paddle is a much better option all round)
And we’ve updated the design a bit. We like to keep our design constant for as long as possible – we don’t want to be part of the unsustainable annual upgrade cycle – but we’ve had the previous design since 2016, and it was a little tired!
We include a Panda Board Sports Quick Release waist belt as standard with every SUP package at no additional cost – we care about your safety!

Inflation aids
Connect to a compressor | Valve adaptor
This little tool allows you to connect your inflatable paddleboard to a shrader (car tyre) type pump. Please note that most car tyre pumps are not designed to provide enough volume to inflate a SUP. Therefore using your car tyre inflator could damage the pump. And the use of a very high volume compressor could damage your SUP board – so be careful!
Inflating with ease | Double action or Triple action pump
Choose a double action pump which does the job in about 8 minutes. But it’s a back breaking workout. So why not upgrade to a double chamber triple action pump. This pump makes your pre-paddle routine a doddle, inflating an all round board to 18 PSI in less than 5 minutes, without breaking your back.
You’re not what you wear, but…
Looking good without costing the planet | Casual SUPwear
We’ve got a large range of organic and sustainable t-shirts and hoodies. From bright and colourful to stylish and subtle, every garment is 100% organic or recycled, printed to order using a small UK company, and delivered within 10 days, but often as quick as 3 days. Kids, ladies and unisex available
Protect the seas and your body | Rash vests
Not just a rash vest, but one made from recycled plastic waste. Here’s what a happy customer had to say…
“It is very comfy. Easily the comfiest one I’ve had. Better than my current Billabong one. I wasn’t expecting it to be long sleeved. If I’d have been looking to buy another one, I’d have gone for short sleeve. But now I’ve tried your long sleeve one on, I’m sold on it. In the hot weather this saturday at the Torbay air show, it was lovely and cooling on and stopped me getting burned when wearing it on its own with shorts. When I went for a swim, I put my wetsuit top on over the top of it and it kept me nice and warm. When I took the wetsuit top off, your rash vest dried pretty quickly in the sun.”
Fins
No snags | river fin
Shallow rivers are a drag (literally), particularly for those riders with fixed fins. Luckily, McConks don’t do fixed fins, and a river fin pack allows you to use shorter fins for shallower waters.
Harder, straighter, faster | Race fins
If you want better tracking, then these race fins will improve your tracking and your speed through the water. With a weed shedding profile they will also significantly reduce drag in weedy waters.
Have fun, be safe | SUP safety
SUP leashes
It goes without saying you should nearly always use a leash. If you’re on flat without any current, then a coiled ankle leash is sufficient (supplied as standard on most of our boards prior to 2021). If you want to surf SUP, then a straight leash is advised to reduce the risk of recoil, although people are increasingly finding coiled ankle leashes don’t create as much recoil as previously feared.
Whitewater specific quick release belts
If you stand up paddle on swiftwater, then we recommend a more fully featured quick release belt, with multiple release mechanisms. Check out our quick release belts here.
Gear protection
Keeping you gear safe on the water is an important element of SUP safety. What good is your mobile phone if it’s at the bottom of the sea? Our dry bags keep your gear dry, and have inflatable external bladders to ensure they float. And they’re made from recycled plastic waste

I am a small 5 ft paddler and I wanted a board that was a little bit easier to manoeuvre for shorter paddles. I paddle on lakes, canals & the sea and this board is ideal. I have used it in very choppy, windy conditions and it has excelled. For the smaller paddler this is a great all round board for adventuring. The construction is sound and it looks good on the water!
