Description
The McConks surf/wingsurf crossover board takes wave and wing performance to the next level. All McConks inflatable SUP boards are light, stiff and durable. The updated Go Free 9β8 has a denser deckpad belt, that adds even more rigidity, and an innovative flush hard fin box that is as solid as a fin box in a rigid freeride board. And with that additional stiffness and reduced drag, the board planes (lifts from the fin, overtakes its bow wave and skims like a stone) more efficiently than before.
As a fully-fledged, planing freeride wing board, a hard rail release edge and fibreglass freeride fin wing sessions are guaranteed to be even more fun. Remove that freeride fin to discover an accomplished and fun SUP board that works in whitewater river situations, delivers as a surf SUP and is surprisingly good in a straight line and where tidal waters may be in effect.
If you’re considering wingsurfing the Go Free 9’8 is our board of choice.
Also available with footstraps.

Omg wanted a board to catch some waves on the sea and still go on the river (ok I do need to paddle a βlittleβ more then the 14) but catching the waves and still have the flexibility with the one fin setup on this board is amazing ? absolutely yes if you plan sea ?

This replaces my much loved Go Anywhere 10’6″. I hoped the shorter length would make it more nimble in the waves but the old board was actually better in clean surf. Still, it’s a good, really tough all-rounder and I’ll get good use from it.
